By the time she finishes her career, Moore should go down as the top pitcher to throw for BC since the school became an NCAA school.  Moore is a true ace who has developed more of a complete pitching game over the past three seasons.  Moore is again expected to anchor the Deacons' staff and remain one of the top pitchers in the CACC.  Also a top hitter, Moore should remain a middle of the lineup hitter in an improved BC lineup in 2010.

2008: Brianne Moore enjoyed another strong season for the Deacons in the circle and at the plate in 2008.  Moore became only the second Bloomfield College softball player to receive 1st Team All Northeast Region honors last season.  She was named 1st Team Designated Player after hitting .337 with 1 home run and 18 RBI.  Moore also registered 10 doubles on the year.  As a member of the Deacons' pitching staff, Moore finished 2008 with a record of 7-5 and hurled 5 shutouts, which was third in teh CACC.  Her ERA of 1.97 was good for second on the team and 8th in the CACC.  Moore was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll four times in 2008.

2009: Moore bounced back from a 2008 elbow injury to have her best season in the circle since becoming a Deacon.  Moore went 14-4 with an ERA of 2.22 and 111 strikeouts in 104 innings.  Perhaps the most impressive feat Moore accomplished in 2009 was beating all 4 pitchers who were named All-CACC in 2009 in head-to-head matchups.  Moore defeted two nationally ranked teams in 2009 (Caldwell and Georgian Court) and also picked up the win against NYIT, who had received national poll attention as well.  Moore registered two playoff wins for BC in 2009.  At the plate, Moore hit .330 and established a new career high with 22 RBI.  She recorded her 100th career hit early in the season.  Moore was also named an Academic All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
