Juan Reina enters his 3rd season as an assistant softball coach on the Bears softball staff at Bloomfield College. He assists in all areas of the softball program.
As the 4-Year starting Shortstop for the Bloomfield College baseball team from 2015-2018, he racked up 157 career hits & helped end the team’s 5 year playoff drought by reaching the tournament in 2017. During the summer of 2016 & 2017, Juan spent his time playing in the GSCBL for the San Francisco Seagulls. In 98 games, he had a batting average of .326, 104 hits, 6 HR’s and 65 RBIs en-route to back-to-back appearances in the Championship.
Prior to his collegiate career, Juan was showcasing his talent for the Passaic County Tech baseball team. During his junior year in 2013, he rewrote the record books hitting .602 with 10 HR’s & 42 RBIs earning him 1stTeam All-State honors. His most impressive feat was being named to the North Jersey All-Decade team.
Juan graduated in 2018 as a Double Major, with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Accounting & Finance. He is currently an Accountant for Sony Music Entertainment.
