Kelli Costa

Kelli Costa enters the 2018 softball season as an assistant coach for the Bloomfield Bears.

Costa has coached at the high school level for the past 6 years.  She started her coaching career at Jefferson High School in 2012 and most recently coached at Morris Catholic High School.

Coach Costa is from Byram, New Jersey in Sussex County where she played softball from the age of 5, but fell in love with it when she reached the collegiate level. Costa played two years at Sussex County Community College where her passion grew for softball. Her coaches at the junior college helped paved the way for her success as a Skylander and ultimately inspired her to be the coach she is today.

After her two years at Sussex, Costa decided to commit her time to the Education Program at Montclair State University. Kelli has always had a great love for sports and education so from a young age she knew she was destined to become a teacher and a coach.

Costa is currently an elementary physical education teacher in Parsippany, N.J. and also coaches field hockey at Mount Olive High School in the fall season. Kelli is excited to join the Bloomfield College coaching staff to help guide the Bears to another successful season.
