Biography

One of the best athletes on BC's team, Daliana Perez expects to help the Deacons in many ways in 2010.  An experienced outfielder who started 31 games as a freshman, Perez covers a tremendous amount of ground in the outfield and has great arm strength.  Perez logged 51 at bats as a freshman, scoring 15 runs and stealing 11 bases.  With an increased on base percentage, those totals could increase significantly.  Perez will compete for a starting spot once again in 2010 in a more crowded and experienced Deacons outfield and could also see time at first base.

2009: Daliana Perez was a mainstay in the Deacons outfield as a freshman, starting 31 games.  Possessing great speed and hands, Perez did an outstanding job covering ground as the Deacon's main centerfielder.  Perez, who also has one of the best arms on the team, showed off its strength by gunning down a runner at home against Felician in extra innings as BC pulled off a 9 inning win against their rivals.  One of the best athletes on the team, Perez was 11-13 stealing bases, which was good for 3rd on the team.  She also scored 15 runs on the season.
