Biography

Deana is a valuable member of the Deacons team and plays many key roles for the  team.  Dedovitch was used as a freshman as a pinch runner late in games in key situations.  With good speed and good baserunning instincts, Dedovitch helps the Deacons use their versatility to an advantage late in games. 

2009: Dedovitch appeared in 24 games for BC as a freshman and led the Deacons' bench in runs scored with 8.  Dedovitch also had a key at bat in one of the Deacons' biggest wins in 2008. Against East Coast Conference champion Dowling, Dedovitch came to bat with the winning run at second base.  Her grounder to the right side allowed the runner to move to third, where she eventually scored on a wild pitch.
