2008: In a season that saw the Deacons struggle with their infield defense, Dominique Russo was one player who remained defensively consistent all season.  For the second straight year, Russo led the Deacons ininfield in fielding percentage, committing just 4 errors in 311 chances for a .987 fielding percentage.  Russo also recorded 297 putouts in 2008, which topped her own school record from last year.  At the plate, Russo saw her power numbers increase as she knocked in 13 runs and hit home runs against ECC playoff teams Bridgeport and Dowling.  Russo also saw time ni the circle for the Deacons and was the starting pitcher in a BC win over St. Thomas Aquinas.

2009: Russo has improved each year she has played and hopes to remain a steadying force in BC's infield as a senior.  With her run production and power increased between 2007 and 2008, if Russo can continue that trend she will be a factor for the Deacons' offense again in 2009.
