Krystina Poloni comes into her senior year as one of the more feared hitters in the CACC.  The two-time First Team All-CACC performer has increased her hits and RBI totals each year of her career and hopes to continue to develop as a hitter.  Poloni has also made great strides defensively at first base after being recruited as a catcher in 2010.  Poloni made just four errors at first base and registered a ,981 fielding percentage in 2011.  She is expected to be a leader in a deep BC senior class.

2012: Once again in 2012, Krystina Poloni was a 1st Team All-CACC performer after another outstanding season.  Poloni led the Deacons with 39 RBIs and was second on the team with six home runs.  Poloni also topped the 50-hit mark for the first time, finishing the season with 53 hits.  Poloni recorded her 100th career hit against Caldwell College on March 27.  She came into the doubleheader with 95 career hits and went 5-7 on the day to reach the milestone.  Poloni belted a 2-run home run in the CACC Playoffs to help Bloomfield to a 6-5 win over Post to gain a berth in the CACC Tournament finals.

2011: Krystina Poloni played a key role in BC's record setting offense in 2011.  After a strong freshman campaign, Poloni developed into a 1st Team All-CACC 1st baseman in 2011 after she increased her offensive numbers across the board.  Poloni was 2nd on BC with 6 homers in 2011 while increasing her average nearly .030 points to .341.  Poloni was 3rd on BC with a .556 slugging percentage and was 4th on the team with 21 runs scored.  Poloni belted her 1st career grand slam against Holy Family on 3/10.  


2010: Krystina Poloni enjoyed a smooth transition from high school to college athletics as a freshman.  Poloni was one of just 3 players on the team to hit over .300 for the season, logging a .313 batting average.  She tied for the team lead in homers and was 3rd on the team in hits and RBI. Poloni also led BC with a .495 slugging percentage.  Poloni started all 39 of the deacons games at 1st base in 2010 and had a .987 fielding percentage, committing just 4 errors.
