Biography

2014-2015: Lauren Bueno comes to Bloomfield as a transfer from Metro State and hopes to make a strong impact immediately in the Bears outfield.  Bueno played her first two collegiate seasons at Otero Junior College in Colorado and was a standout on some tremendous teams.  During her sophomore year at Otero, Bueno hit .322 with nine home runs and 51 RBIs in 54 games.  She also had a .591 slugging percentage while helping Otero to a 52-11 record.  For Bloomfield, Bueno is a leading candidate as a corner outfielder and hopes to contribute in the middle of Bloomfield's lineup.
