Bloomfield College

2008: In 2008 Mallorie Mathews put together her second straight First Team All-CACC season after hitting .344 with 4 home runs and 38 RBI.  Playing mostly third base, with some work also at first, Mathews was a leader in the infield for BC.  She recorded her 100th carrer hit and her 100th career RBI this season and finished the year with a .510 slugging percentage.  She led the team in RBI, was second in hits, runs and extra base hits and third on the team in stiolen bases.  Mathews was named the CACC Player of the Week once after a week in which she hit .600 with 6 RBI and 7 runs scored.  Included in that week was the first home run ever hit out of Virginia State's softball complex.

2009: Mallorie once again is expected on to be the leader of BC's infield and to drive in runs at her usual record-breaking pace.  Mathews has already left her mark on the CACC softball history books and owns most Bloomfield College records as well.  With a strong senior year, Mathews could cement her status as one of the top female athletes to ever compete at Bloomfield College as an NCAA Division II athlete.
