Biography

Tiffany Muschio is an important menber of the Deacon's roster, providing catching depth to a solid group of capable catchers.  Muschio has started 37 games behind the plate in her first two years as a Deacon and thrown out 16 attempted baserunners.  After finishing 2nd in the CACC in runners caught stealing as a freshman, opposing basreunners took notice, as stolen base attempts decreased against her by over 30%. 

2008: Tiffany Muschio's performance behind the plate was one of the bight spots this year for the Deacons' defense.  Despite starting around half of the games of most other catchers in the CACC, Muschio ranked second in the conference in runenrs caught stealing with 12.  Muschio also became the first Deacons' player in at least 5 years to play the entire season without committing an error, handling 108 chances behind the plate flawlessly.  In addition to the 12 girls she caught stealing, Muschio showed off her arm by recording 7 additional assists from behind the plate.
2009: Muschio started 16 games behind the plate for BC in 2009, showing improvement during her sophomore year.  Muschio allowed just 7 stolen bases all season, which was best among Deacon backstops.
