Bloomfield College

About  Keels:   A solid point guard, played four seasons for the women's basketball program, with her final season coming in the 2011-2012 campaign. 

As a senior: Played in 23 games with two starts, averaging 12.7 minutes per contest...Averaged 1.3 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game...providing quality play at the point guard position throughout her senior campaign...CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of December, 2011...Led the Lady Deacons in three-point percentage, shooting 37.5 percent from beyond the arc...Finished fourth on the club in free-throw percentage, converting 71 percent of her attempts.

As a junior:  Played in 25 games with 15 starts as a junior in 2010-2011...Averaged 1.4 points, 1.0 assists and 0.8 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per contest...Shot an even 50% from the field while going 3-5 from beyond the arc...Shot 57% from the free-throw line while totaling 12 steals, providing solid play at the point guard spot as both a starter and reserve throughout the season...Ashley's outstanding work in the classroom earned her a CACC Winter All-Academic Team selection, an award given to student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

As a sophomore:  Played in 14 games for 2009-2010 Lady Deacons...Scored eight total points, while pulling down 16 total rebounds...Swiped four steals while dishing out 10 assists, and made two of her five attempts from the free-throw line.

As a freshman:  Played in 15 games for the Lady Deacons with one start in 08'-09'...Pulled down five rebounds and dished out four assists, while connecting on one of six shots from the floor.

Before Bloomfield:  Ashley starred at Riverdale Baptist High School before joining the Lady Deacons basketball program at Bloomfield College.

Why Ashley chose Division II: "I chose Bloomfield because of the environment that I was surrounded by, not just from the basketball team but from the campus itself.  Bloomfield College just felt like the place to be."
