About Horrocks:
The backbone of the Lady Deacons, Emily has a solid offensive game from both inside and outside the paint. Her ability to shut down her opposition on the defensive end makes her an indispensable player to the 09'-10' Lady Deacons.
As a junior: Played in 29 games with 25 starts. Averaged eight points, and 5.1 rebounds, good for second on the team, in over 18 minutes a game. Lead the Lady Deacons with 31.8 minutes played per contest.
As a sophomore:
Played in 29 games averaging 27 minutes and just under 6 points per game. Emily grabbed 104 boards and racked up 48 steals and dished out 54 assists.
As a freshman:
Played in 23 games averaging over 6 points per game and delivering 32 assists. She also grabbed 67 rebounds and 34 steals.
General:
Emily enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and shopping.
Why Emily chose Division II:
I chose Division II because it gave me an opportunity to successfully balance academics and athletics. I also liked the small college setting that Bloomfield provides.
Coach Wimberly on Horrocks: "Emily is one of those players that's just impossible to sit. What she does for our team cannot be measure on the stat sheet. We expect her to score the ball more this season."
