About McClain: A talented guard, Nygilia played one season for the Bloomfield College women's basketball program, playing her freshman season during the 2011-2012 campaign.
As a freshman: Played in 16 games with one start, averaging 7.1 minutes per contest...Averaged 1.2 points and .5 rebounds per game...Totaled a career-high six points twice during the 2011-2012 campaign.
Before Bloomfield: Nygilia was a McDonald’s All-American nominee, All-State and All-Conference selection during her standout high school career at Mohonasen High School, also earning a Channel 13 All-Star selection.
Why Nygilia chose Division II: “I chose Bloomfield because the campus is small, but it feels like home. The school also has a great arts program, and a great women’s basketball team.”
