About Washington: Regina joins the Lady Deacons as a talented point guard with the ability to create opportunities for her teammates off the dribble. A solid outside shooter with the ability to get to the rim, Washington is expected to see significant minutes at the point guard position for the 09'-10' Lady Deacons.
General: When she's not playing basketball, Regina enjoys watching TV and working out.
Why Regina chose Division II: "I chose Division II because I loved the team and the coaching staff here at Bloomfield College. They really made me feel at home, and made me feel like this was a place where I could succeed."
Coach Wimberly on Washington: "Regina's learning a lot quickly, and has been a great addition to our program. She's a good three-point shooter, and has the ability to get better in every phase of the game. We expect big things from her this season."
