About Bishop:  An athletic guard and an outstanding shooter from the perimeter, Shakiyrah concluded her four-year career with the Bloomfield College Women's Basketball program in 2011-2012.

As a senior:  Played in 23 games with nine starts, averaging 11.9 minutes per contest....Averaged 3.5 points, and 1.0 rebounds per contest...Finished fourth on the Lady Deacons in three-point percentage, shooting just under 30 percent from beyond the arc...Totaled a season-high 12 points in a 47-46 victory over non-conference opponent Dowling College January 5, 2012...Hit a season-high three three-pointers twice in 2011-2012, going for 11 points against the University of the Sciences in a 76-49 victory over the University of the Sciences, and nine points in a loss to CACC North Division rival Felician College January 24, 2012.

As a junior:  Played in 21 games as a junior in 2010-2011...Averaged 2.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in 7.6 minutes per contest...Totaled 52 points, 21 rebounds and nine steals...Connected on 12 of her 58 three-point attempts while converting four of her eight attempts from the free-throw line.

As a sophomore:  Played in 16 games with one start...Totaled 33 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while recording a steal.

As a freshman:  Played in 18 games with two starts, averaging 6.2 minutes per contest...Averaged 2.6 points per game, while pulling down 13 rebounds and swiping three steals.

Before Bloomfield:  Starred at Wildwood High School before joining the Lady Deacons basketball program at Bloomfield College.

Why Shakiyrah chose Division II:  "I chose Division II because I knew that after being recruited, Bloomfield's small college atmosphere was an excellent fit for me."
