Biography

Karen Gomez is one of five returnees on defense for the 2008 season and figures to add depth to the unit.  Gomez was one of only 6 Deacons to see action in all 17 games last season, starting 6 of them.  A strong defender on the ball, Gomez figures to see plenty of action as an outside defender in 2008 and can also play as a stopper.
