About Cadena: A versatile midfielder, Michelle will see time in both the middle of the pitch and on defense for the Lady Deacons in her upcoming senior campaign.
As a junior: Played in 13 games with four starts...Tallied a goal and an assist on the season...Notched five shots with a pair of shots on goal while providing quality play at both the midfield and defender positions during the 2011 season.
As a sophomore: Played in 14 games with 10 starts...Tallied a goal and two assists, her two helpers placing her fifth on the 2010 club...Fired five shots with two shots on goal, and provided quality play at both midfield and defense in her sophomore campaign.
As a freshman: Played in 17 games with 17 starts...Notched two goals and three assists, her seven total points good for fourth on the 2009 club...Totaled six shots, with four shots on goal.
Before Bloomfield: Michelle starred at Clifton High School for four years before beginning her collegiate career with Bloomfield College.
Why Michelle chose Division II: “I chose Division II because I knew Bloomfield College had an outstanding nursing program, and that is the major I wanted to pursue.”
