Biography
About Locke: A two-sport athlete at Bloomfield, Sara played defense throughout her career as a member of the Lady Deacons' soccer program. A standout
in the classroom, Sara has been profiled by Bloomfield College as a “Portraits of Excellence” recipient for her outstanding academic achievements, and has earned three CACC Fall All-Academic Team selections during her career.
As a senior: Played in 15 games with 12 starts on defense for the Lady Deacons in 2010, registering one shot and one shot on goal...Sara's outstanding work in the classroom earned her a spot on the CACC Fall All-Academic Team for the third time in her career, and also earned her the Bloomfield College NAIAW Woman of the Year Award.
As a junior: Played in 13 games with eight starts, tallying an assist and three shots, with one shot on goal.
As a sophomore: Played in 17 games with 14 starts, totaling three shots.
As a freshman: Played in 17 games with 15 starts...Totaled three shots, with three shots on goal.
Why Sara chose Division II: “I chose Division II because I liked Bloomfield’s small campus. It felt like a family atmosphere when I toured the school.”
