Biography
About Jones: One of the top all-around players in the CACC, Jones returns to the Lady Deacons for her senior campaign and will help control the middle of the field for Bloomfield in 2012.
As a junior: Played in 16 games with 15 starts...Totaled a goal on 11 shots, with three shots on goal...Provided quality play in the middle of the field and was also a standout student-athlete in the classroom, representing the women's soccer program on the CACC Fall All-Academic team for the second consecutive season.
As a sophomore: Played in 16 games with 15 starts...Finished fourth on the 2010 club with three goals, and finished tied for second with three assists...Fired 31 shots, with 17 shots on goal...Stacey's outstanding work in the classroom earned her a CACC Fall All-Academic Team selection, the first of her career.
As a freshman: Played in 17 games with 17 starts...Led the Lady Deacons with 10 goals in 2009, while also tallying three assists. Her 23 total points were tops on the club, all while registering 42 shots and 24 shots on goal.
Before Bloomfield: Jones starred at Good Counsel High School in Australia before joining the women’s soccer program at Bloomfield in 2009.
Why Stacey chose Division II: “I chose to come to Bloomfield because I knew it was a place where I could make a difference on the soccer team, and pursue my education at a good school.”
