Freshmen forward Melissa Torzewski (Glen Garden, NJ/Voorhees) has been named the first ever Bloomfield College Athlete of the week, for the week ending September 9th, 2007. 

Missy was named CACC Rookie of the Week in women's soccer for the week ending September 9th, 2007.  A week in which she recorded her first career hat trick, scoring three goals in the Lady Deacons 7-0 victory over Concordia on Saturday September 8th.
Missy became the second Bloomfield player to notch a hat trick this season, the other being senior forward Michelle Giuca (North Bergen, NJ/North Bergen).  Missy’s efforts helped the Lady Deacons, whose record now stands at 2-3 overall, double their win total from 2006. College
