Shantae Barnes earns Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks. Despite a 69-58 loss to C.W. Post in the Lady Deacons only game last week, Barnes had another strong outing. Shantae played just four minutes in the first half due to foul trouble and was held scoreless; but returned in the second half and played all 20 minutes, scoring 15 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Shantae was 6-6 from the floor, 2-2 from three-point range and 1-1 from the free throw line. She also tallied two assists, one block and one steal.
