BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - The Bloomfield College Lady Deacons lost a 66-57 home decision to CACC North rival Post University Lady Eagles on Tuesday night, dropping Bloomfield to 11-12 overall and 8-8 in CACC play along with swapping places with Post in the division standings.
 
In the first half, both teams held the lead for a portion of the frame.  Bloomfield held a four-point lead near the halfway point but the Lady Eagles went to halftime with a 34-32 advantage. 
 
Coming out of halftime, Post went on a 6-0 run in the first two minutes, putting the game out of reach for the Lady Deacons.  Bloomfield cut the deficit to one with 7:55 remaining in the contest, only for the Lady Eagles to respond and close the game on an 18-10 run for the crucial victory. 
 
Senior forward Shaniqua Bacote (Paterson, N.J.) led Bloomfield with 18 points, four steals and four rebounds.  Freshman forward Iman Williams (Chesapeake, VA) had eight points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Lady Deacons. 
 
Bloomfield's next game is a road contest against CACC South rival University of the Sciences on Saturday, February 16.  Game time is set for 1 p.m.
