RUTHERFORD, NJ - Bloomfield College Women's Basketball defeated the Golden Falcons of Felician College 80-66 tonight in CACC North Division action. The Deacons saw three players score in double-figures en-route to the road victory that improved Bloomfield to 12-3 in conference play (14-8 overall) while dropping Felician College to 10-12 overall and 8-7 in CACC action. The victory represents the Deacons 4th consecutive conference win and Bloomfield, a nationally ranked defensive team, has managed to average 72.5 ppg on the offensive side of the ball over the streak which has them atop the CACC North standings with just four games remaining in the regular season.

Ariel Wilson (Chesapeake, VA) took the lead with a team-high 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. Senior
Ivettlis Castro (Carteret, NJ) poured in 16 points and 3 steals followed by junior
Tierra Scott 's ( Bear, DE) double-double performance grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds to go along with 13 points. The Deacons shot 45.0% from the field for the game and out-rebounded Felician College 44-27, senior

Scott and Castro took control in the first half for the Deacons, scoring 9 and 8 of their total points respectively in the opening period and Bloomfield saw a 42-29 advantage at the break. Wilson soared in the second stanza netting 13 of her team-high buckets and going perfect from the floor and freethrow line to help the Deacons keep the Golden Falcons at bay securing the win. Felician was paced by Trina Plummer (West Babylon, NY) who led all scorers with 20 points on the evening. Junior Ashley Morris (West Orange, NJ) rounded out the Golden Falcon offensive output with 12 points to compliment a team-high 8 rebounds.
