NEWARK, N.J. - The Bears baseball team split a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader with the visiting Eagles of Post University Wednesday evening at West Side Park.
Harold Hester (Lakehurst, N.J.),
Harry Montero (Millville, N.J.) and
Ben Thomas (Burlington, N.J.) each drove in two runs in Bloomfield's, 9-3 game one victory. Post came back to claim a, 6-1 win off game two starter,
Carlos Tejeda (New York, N.Y.).
The Bears moved to 4-14 overall and 2-4 in CACC action after Wednesday's double dip, while the Eagles moved to 6-16 on the year and 1-3 in league play.
