LYNDHURST, N.J. - The Bloomfield College women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 lost Wednesday evening as they traveled to face Felician University. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) shut out left the Bears (0-8, 0-5 CACC) still searching for their first win of the season while the Golden Falcons improved to 2-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
Freshman keeper,
Adeline Argabrite (Bloomfield, N.J.) got the start in goal and gave up four goals in the first half as Felician played most of the period on the visitors half of the field.
The Golden Falcons added two more goals in the second half with
Emira Sela (Staten Island, N.Y.) coming on after the break for the Bears in goal. The Bloomfield keepers saved seven shots combined on the evening.
Bloomfield will take a trip down the Turnpike for their next contest as they battle the Tigers of Holy Family University on Saturday. The CACC showdown is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm and is part of a soccer doubleheader, which will include the men's game at 2:30 pm.
