Box Score DOYLESTOWN, P.A. - Sophomore goalkeeper,
Emira Sela (Staten Island. N.Y.) played in her first full game since September 17
th and stopped a career-high fifteen shots on goal but the Bloomfield College women's soccer team was shutout by Holy Family University, 4-0 on the road Saturday afternoon. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match was played at Jack Work Memorial Field due to weather conditions preventing the Tigers from hosting on their home pitch as the Bears fell to 0-9 for the season and 0-6 in conference games. Holy Family improved to 6-3-1 overall and 5-0-1 in CACC action after the victory.

The Tigers were held in check by Sela for the first forty-one minutes of play and finally broke into the scoring column on a loose ball collected inside the box and pushed past the Bloomfield keeper for a 1-0 advantage. The score held as the teams went into the halftime break and the Bears searched for an offensive breakthrough.

Holy Family seized control in the second period and pushed across three goals out of 18 shots as the Bloomfield back line faced constant pressure. The Tigers out-shot the Bears 34-12 for the game and held a 9-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Bloomfield will take to the pitch again on Tuesday evening when they host the Eagles of Post University in another CACC battle. The contest under the lights at Foley Field is scheduled for a 7:00 pm start on October 4
th.
