NYACK, N.Y. – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team notched their third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win, after an, 85-75 road battle against Nyack College Wednesday evening at the Bowman Gym. The CACC Player of the Week,
Nick Davidson (Lumberton, N.J.) led the way with a team high 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field. Freshman guard,
Dontay Julius (Linden, N.J.) had a good day at the office as he netted 21 points which included 14-of-17 from the free throw line.

How It Happened
- Ahmid Williams (Monroe, N.J.) and Julius got the scoring underway for Bloomfield in the first half with back-to-back three-pointers on consecutive possessions. The visitors' enjoyed an eight-point advantage (15-7) with 13:53 on the clock after a jumper from Rakwan Kelly (Newark, N.J.)
- The Warriors rallied and evened the score at 17-17 five minutes later but went down again by eight (32-24) with 4:14 to go in the opening half. Nyack closed out the half with a 17-6 spurt and seized a 41-38 lead at the half
- The Bears came out of the break fired up and reeled off ten straight points to reclaim the momentum in the CACC North Division battle. Marcus Fleming (Linden, N.J.) opened the spurt with a three-pointer and Davidson closed it with a three-ball of his own
- Nyack refused to go away and clawed back to tie the match at 70-70 with under five minutes to play. Williams provided two daggers from beyond the arc to help seal the Warriors fate and free throws down the stretch closed the door on the home team's come back hopes
- Williams and Brown's back-to-back shots from beyond the arc gave the CACC North Division's top team their largest lead (18) before securing the eleven-point victory at game's end
