WILMINGTON, DEL – The Bloomfield College volleyball team took a long bus ride down to Delaware Friday afternoon and returned Saturday evening with two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) setbacks. Friday they squared off with the Lightning from Goldey-Beacom College and fell in straight sets, 3-0. Saturday morning the Bears tussled with the Wildcats of Wilmington University and came out on the wrong end of a five-set thriller, 3-2. Bloomfield has dropped five straight games and have fallen bellow .500 for the first time this season in league contests.

The Bears road tests don't get any easier as their next match comes against the CACC North Division leader, Caldwell University on Wednesday. The 7:00 pm battle at the George R. Newman Center is sure to be a crowd pleaser with the history of the two schools' spirited rivalry.
