BLOOMFIELD, NJ- The Bears women's basketball team lost their fifth consecutive game to close out 2018, dropping a 59-38 decision to Bowie State on Sunday. Bloomfield's record fell to 1-10 for the year while the Bulldogs improved to 10-1 after the regional, non-conference match up.

Caitlin Townes (Newark, NJ) came off the bench on fire, dropping 3-of-6 from deep for a team-high, 9 points at the break.

Townes finished her day as the lone Bear in double-figures with 11 while senior forward,
