BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - Bloomfield College men's basketball received an at-large bid Sunday night in the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament, as announced by NCAA.com during its official selection show. The Bears earned the No. 7 seed in the Big Dance after posting a 22-7 record during the 2017-18 campaign and will face second-seeded, Saint Thomas Aquinas College in the first round of the East Regional on Saturday, March 10th on the campus of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. The time for tip-off of the opening round match up will be 2:30 pm.

"We got another shot," Holmes said of the selection. "We have another opportunity to extend our season and to accomplish something great as a team. I can only hope our players seize this chance and are ready to put forth the effort needed. This Saturday is the first step."
"There is nothing like NCAA Tournament basketball and I am so proud our team have been selected to be a part of this year's field of 64," athletic director
Sheila Wooten said of the men's basketball program selection. "We encourage the student-athletes to strive for excellence on and off the court and this team gives our entire campus something to get excited about."
