WEST PALM, FL -On March 6, the Bloomfield College Bears went up against the Concordia College Clippers in sunny Florida for some Spring Break baseball in Lake Worth. After nine innings, the afternoon game ended with the Clippers on top, 9-4 and the Bears falling to 0-5 on the year.

Junior pitcher Carlos Rodriguez (Paterson, NJ) suffered the loss on the hill, (0-1) after hurling an inning and giving up five earned runs on five hits that broke the game wide open. On the offensive side, junior outfielder Darwin Tawarez (Garfield, NJ) went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and senior outfielder Khalid Legette (Teamark, NJ) scored 3 times and was 2-for-3 at the plate.
 
Next up for the Bears will be another shot at the Skyhawks from Stonehill College on Thursday, March 7. The teams will battle in Boca Raton with a scheduled 11:00 am first pitch.
