PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Bears picked up their first win of the 2020 season with a 6-1 decision over Pace University on Monday. Bloomfield moved to 1-3 on the year while the Setters' record fell to 3-4 after the battle on Finnerty Field.

On the offensive side Julius Puryear (West Orange, NJ) and Tyree Bradley (West Orange, NJ) each went 2-for-5 at the plate. Bradley blasted two doubles on the day while Puryear belted his first homerun as a Bear, stole a base and had 3 RBI. Senior infielder, Jason Holguin (Lakewood, NJ) doubled to left-center in the third inning to put Bloomfield on the board first and they never looked back.
