BRONXVILLE, NY - The women's basketball team trailed by as-many-as 15 in the 3rd quarter but mounted a comeback that fell just short, dropping a, 68-65 decision to Concordia College on Saturday. The Clippers, playing in their season opener, improved to 1-0 overal and 1-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play while the Bears fell to 1-1 on the season both overal and in league games.

Myasia Jackson (Trenton, NJ) had a career day shooting 50.0 percent from the floor (8-of-16) for 18 points including a bucket in the paint that drew Bloomfield to within one point of the home team with 44 seconds remaining. Redshirt sophomore,
DaShanique Ruffin (Paterson, NJ) recorded her second straight double-double of 2021, pouring in 15 points to go along with a game-high 18 rebounds.
The Bears will look to regroup when they return to action on Tuesday, Feb 2nd against Felician University. The CACC road contest against the Golden Falcons is set for a 3:00 pm tip-off but with impending snow in the forcast, be sure to stay updated here for all possible schedule changes.
