LYNDHURST, NJ. – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team took a short ride to Lyndhurst Recreation to face Felician University on Wednesday and suffered a, 3-2 setback. The loss marked the Bears fifth-straight and left the visitors with a 4-10-1 overall record and a 3-6 mark in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play. The Golden Falcons improved to 6-6-1 on the season and 5-3 in league games.
The two teams scored all their goals in the first half as Felician went up 3-0 by the fourteenth minute of the game. Bloomfield saw goals from Andre Di Reumante (Takoma Park, MD) and
Edgar Torres (Dallas, TX) in the 17
th and 26
th minute of play respectively.
In goal,
Robert Kornel (Berlin, Germany) made six saves in 90 minutes of work.
Bloomfield will return to the pitch on Saturday, October 30
th for their final home game of the season. The Bears will celebrate Senior Day when they host Goldey-Beacom College at 3:30 pm on Foley FIeld.
