WATERBURY, CONN. - The Bloomfield College women's volleyball team headed up north for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) showdown Tuesday night and came away with a, 3-2 victory over Post University. The hotly contested conference win improved the Bears league mark to 5-1 and the top spot in the North Division. The Eagles fell to 3-2 in the CACC and 6-11 overall.
Sophomore right side hitter,
Esther Dogbe (Irvington, NJ) had a career-day in a Bloomfield uniform as she led the attack with 17 kills and added 3 blocks. The monster game for the Bears Finance major gave her a team-leading, 94 kills on the season and 15 blocks. Sophomore setter,
Lauryn Hansford (Plainfield, NJ) paced the Bloomfield offense with 43 assists and chipped in 15 digs while freshman libero,
Sophia Wintonick (Colonia, NJ) registered a game-high 22 digs. Bloomfield came storming back after being down, 2-0 in the match to take the final three sets and move their overall 2021 record to 6-3.
