RUTHERFORD, NJ - The Bears women's basketball team went on the road Tuesday evening and picked up a, 58-34 victory over Felician University. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win improved Bloomfield's record to 3-3 overall and in league play while the Golden Falcons fell to 0-5 on the season.

The visitors were powered by Dashanique Ruffin (Paterson, NJ) who recorded her third double-double of the year, pouring in 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and grabbing 12 rebounds which included 10 on the offensive glass. The redshirt sophomore also blocked four shots and snared four steals during the contest. Redshirt freshman, Myasia Jackson (Trenton, NJ) netted 13 points on 6-of-11 shots from the field to go along with 7 boards while junior Siani Smith (Burlington, NJ) came of the bench to add 10 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard, Alaisha Mumford (Jersey City, NJ) had a career-high day recording 10 steals in the game and a near triple-double, scoring 9 points and snagging 8 rebounds. 

The Bears will stay on the road for their next match-up when they travel to Caldwell University on Thursday, Feb. 18th. The CACC showdown is set for a 6:00 pm tip-off with the Cougars.
