JERSEY CITY, NJ. - The Bloomfield College volleyball team took it the distance Tuesday night in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) thriller and pulled out a, 3-2 victory over Nyack College. The conference win improved the Bears league mark to 2-0 and their overall record to 3-2. The setback dropped the Warriors to 0-7 on the season and 0-1 in CACC action.
Freshman outside hitter,
Karla Burgos (Cantano, Puerto Rico) had a monster game with a team and career-high, 17 kills to go alongside 10 digs. Classmate, Jordianis Ibarra (Corozal, Puerto Rico) recorded a team-high 15 digs and added 14 kills. The marathon match saw sophomore setter,
Lauryn Hansford (Plainfield, NJ) post a game-high 57 assists and chip in 13 digs for the Bears.
