BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears women's basketball team suffered a, 57-50 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) setback Wednesday evening against Felician University. The Golden Falcons took advantage of 39 Bloomfield College turnovers to improve to 6-9 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
The home team was led by Dashanique Ruffin (Paterson, NJ) who registered her 5
thdouble-double of the season, going 4-of-9 from the field for 13 points and snagged 10 rebounds. Ruffin went 5-for-17 from the free throw line and was the Bears only double-digit scorer.
Bloomfield, who dropped to 3-15 on the season and 1-9 in CACC contests will host Jefferson University on Saturday in The Den. The league battle is scheduled for a 1:00 pm tip-off and the Bears will commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
