WILMINGTON, DEL – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team (1-6-3, 1-4-1 CACC) were shutout on the road, 1-0 Saturday afternoon at Wilmington University (6-2-3, 5-0-1 CACC). The
Wildcats scored a goal on a penalty kick in the 24^th minute of the opening half and kept the Bears off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
 
Bloomfield's offensive woes continue as they managed only one shot on goal for the game and recorded their seventh contest without a goal scored in 2022. Matthew Brun (Kearny, NJ) got his 2^nd consecutive start in goal and made 8 saves on 9 shots faced.
 
The Bears are right back to CACC action on Tuesday, October 4^th when they travel to Connecticut to face The University of Bridgeport. The Purple Knights are set to do battle with Bloomfield at 6:00 pm under the lights of Knights Field.
