ALBANY, N.Y. - The Bloomfield College men's basketball team dropped their season-opening contest Saturday evening to The College of Saint Rose, 84-73. The Bears, 0-1 saw the Golden Knights, 1-0 pull away down the stretch at the Saint Rose Tip-Off Tournament in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium

Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) finished the night with a career and game-high 24 points for Bloomfield while guards
Andres Fulgencio (Englewood, NJ) and
Tyrek Battle-Holley (Jersey City, NJ) had 18 and 13 points respectively.
The Golden Knights used a 26-12 rally to seize control of the matchup and limited the Bears to just five points over the final 3:22.
Bloomfield will be back in action tomorrow afternoon on the final day of play at the Saint Rose Tip-Off Tournament. The action begins with a 2:00 pm meeting with Le Moyne who also suffered a season-opening defeat, falling to Dominican University earlier on Saturday.
