BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team knocked off the visiting Lightning from Goldey-Beacom College Saturday afternoon, 86-69. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory in The Den improved the Bears overall record to 9-14 and 7-6 in league action. The visitors record fell to 11-11 overall with a 7-6 mark in conference games.
 
Junior transfer student, Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) exploded for his career-high in a Bears uniform, going 10-of-16 from the field for 24 points. Freshman Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) came off the bench for the fourth time this season and poured in 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting which included 4-of-7 from long-range. Fellow freshman, Deavion Ellis (North Bergan, NJ) recorded his first career double-double, netting 15 points to go along with a game-high, 10 rebounds. 
 
Bloomfield currently sits in the 5^th spot in the CACC North Division and will be battling for playoff contention when they return to action on Tuesday at Dominican College.
