ORANGEBURG, NY– The Bears women's basketball team traveled to the Hennessy Center on Tuesday evening and suffered a, 74-45 setback to Dominican College. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss moved Bloomfield to 4-19 for the season and 2-13 in league matches. The Chargers, sitting atop the CACC North Division, moved their conference mark to 9-6 for the year and 14-11 overall.
Dashanique Ruffin (Paterson, NJ) recorded her team-leading 8
thdouble-double of the season, netting 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting to go along with 11 boards. Ruffin was the Bears lone player in double figures as the visitors committed 21 turnovers in the game.
Next up for Bloomfield will be two home games to close out the season. First Nyack College visits The Den on Wednesday, February 23 for Black History Night. Game time is set for 5:30 pm and then Caldwell University comes to town on Saturday, February 26 for Senior Day at 1:00 pm.
