PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Bears women's basketball team dropped an, 81-42 decision to Chestnut Hill College Saturday afternoon. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle left Bloomfield with a 3-17 overall mark and 1-11 in league matches. The regionally ranked Griffins, who are undefeated in conference play (12-0) improved to 19-3 overall. 
 
The Bears offense produced their 2^nd lowest scoring output of the season as the visitors shot only 23.3 percent (17-of-73) from the field. Caitlin Townes (Newark, NJ) was the only Bloomfield player to reach double-digit scoring with a team-high, 10 points.

Bloomfield, who has dropped their last three consecutive CACC match-ups will look to end that streak on Wednesday when they travel to Post University. The Eagles welcome the Bears to the Drubner Center for a 5:30 pm tip-off.
