PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team (1-3-2, 1-1-1 CACC) hit the road Saturday afternoon and dropped a, 2-0 decision to Thomas Jefferson University (3-4, 2-0 CACC). The clean sheet was the fourth suffered by the Bears this season as the offense struggled to find a goal in ninety minutes of play.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory was the Rams third straight against Bloomfield and they held a 9-8 advantage on shots for the game. The visiting Bears held a slight, 5-4 lead in shots on target and also enjoyed a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks but they could not turn those chances into points during the match.
Bloomfield will look to turn things around in their next CACC contest on Tuesday, September 20 on the road against Post University. The league's champions from a year ago roll out a welcome mat for the Bears with a 2:00 pm first touch.
