WATERBURY, CONN. – The Bears men's soccer team (1-4-2, 1-2-1 CACC) dropped a heartbreaking, 1-0 decision Tuesday afternoon on the road at Post University (5-2, 3-0 CACC). The regionally ranked Eagles have yet to give up a goal in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play this season while Bloomfield suffered their fifth shutout of the year.
 
Although Post controlled possession for most of the game, the Bears defense stood firm including a save on a penalty kick by Jomar Vizcaino (New Brunswick, NJ) in the first half as the visiting keeper recorded 4 saves for the match. The home team used a goal in the 75^th minute to claim the conference win as Bloomfield's offense struggled to find an equalizer the rest of the way.
 
The Bears host a CACC contest in their next match on Saturday, September 24 against Holy Family University. The Tigers are set to do battle with Bloomfield at 3:30 pm.
