BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The men's soccer team scoring woes continued Saturday afternoon as they dropped a, 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle against visiting Holy Family University. Bloomfield moved to 1-5-2 on the season with the setback and a 1-3-1 record in CACC play. The Tigers improved to 5-4 on the year with the scrappy victory and pushed their conference record to 3-1 in 2022.
The game's lone goal came in the 5
th minute of action as Holy Family seized an opportunity inside the home team's box. Junior keeper,
Jomar Vizcaino (New Bruinswick, NJ) recorded a decent day in goal for Bloomfield, picking up 3 saves, including denial of a Tigers penalty kick at the 2:22 minute mark of the opening half.
Next on tap for the Bears will be a non-conference test on Wednesday, September 28 when Molloy College comes for a visit at Foley Field. First touch with the Lions is slated for 7:00 pm under the evening sky.
