PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Bears (1-4-1, 0-3 CACC) women's soccer team dropped their third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Saturday when they suffered a, 4-1 setback against Thomas Jefferson University (3-3, 2-0 CACC). The conference match-up on Ravenhill Field saw the Rams out-shoot Bloomfield 33-2 but only 13-1 were on target.
Despite dropping their ninth consecutive game to the Rams, the visitors made the most of their one shot on goal as,
Leigha Bradding-Butler (London, England) drove in a ball assisted by
O'Vanna Mullings (Toronto, CA) at the 4:22 minute mark of the 2
nd half. Bradding-Butler's 2
nd goal of the season spoiled Jefferson's shutout hopes and gave the Bears some confidence heading into their next CACC battle on Wednesday, September 21 against Post University.
The Eagles host Bloomfield at 2:00 pm on Lamoy Field in Waterbury, Conn.
