BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield College (1-5-2, 0-4-1 CACC) women's soccer team mounted a comeback to secure a 2-2 tie with visiting Holy Family University (1-4-3, 1-1-2 CACC) Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest was played at historic Foley Field where the Bears fell behind 1-0 on a goal in the 13^th minute of play. The visiting Tigers added their 2^nd goal at the 73:26 minute-mark of the 2^nd half but Bloomfield found life on a penalty kick from Leigha Bradding-Butler (London, England) just over a minute later.
 
The equalizing goal came off the foot of captain, Savannah Smith (North Arlington, NJ) who broke-away down the field in the 89^th minute to bring her team even.
 
The Bears host Saint Thomas Aquinas College in their next match on Tuesday, September 27. The non-conference match is scheduled for 7:00 pm under the lights at Foley.
