BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - The Bloomfield College women's soccer team battled St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) to a scoreless draw during non-conference action, on Tuesday evening at historic Foley Field. The stalemate moved the Bears to 1-5-3 on the year while STAC went to 2-6-1.
Despite the visitors outshooting Bloomfield, 16-7 for the match, Mia Phillip (Bridgewater, NJ) had a relatively easy day in goal for the Bears, picking up seven saves with most of the Spartans shots coming from long-range. Phillip recorded her third shutout of the season and has 63 total saves this year.
Bloomfield will hit the field on Sunday, October 2nd when they host Wilmington University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference battle. The first touch with the Wildcats is scheduled for 1:00 pm at Foley Field.
