ALBANY, NY – The Bears women's soccer team hit the road for a battle with the 2nd ranked team in NCAA Div II women's soccer Wednesday evening and suffered a, 7-0 defeat at the hands of The College of Saint Rose. The Golden Knights scored all of their goals in the opening half and saw 11 players register points on the non-conference victory at Sullivan Field.
Valentina Beltran managed the Bears (1-4, 0-2 CACC) only shot on goal for the game. Mia Phillip picked up eight saves in goal and took the loss after 90 minutes of work.
Bloomfield will regroup and return to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Saturday when they face Wilmington University. The league match-up on the road with the Wildcats is set for 1:00 pm.
